In the middle of an unprecedented high of forced displacement, researchers from the University of Basel (Prof. Dr. Markus Gerber, Florian Knappe), University of Thessaly (Prof. Dr. Antonis Hatzigeorgiadis, Dr. Ioannis Morres, Prof. Yannis Theodorakis, Konstantinia Filippou) team up to learn more about the potential effects of exercise and sport among people living in a refugee camp in Greece. A decision is made that a research proposal will be submitted to the Swiss Network for International Studies (SNIS).
